One-of-a-Kind Figurative Sculpture by Deb Wood
Gosh, I love it when a plan comes together! This is Nykola, and she came to be in the midst of my working on a commission. A thought just came to me, about a tattered leather garment. Scant, certainly, but covering the main bits! So here she is. I am happy to be back home again for a while now, working on things in the studio. Although, today I am out in the yard- working working! Too nice to be inside. There's always this evening...
Come and join me for a weekend of fun and learning!! The International Art Doll Registry is hosting me in Indianapolis in October 2010 at the Hilton Downtown Hotel. We will be covering costuming, wings, tiaras etc. You'll need to bring a completed sculpt and I will be teaching several techniques and trick of the trade.
