Nykola

Gosh, I love it when a plan comes together! This is Nykola, and she came to be in the midst of my working on a commission. A thought just came to me, about a tattered leather garment. Scant, certainly, but covering the main bits! So here she is. I am happy to be back home again for a while now, working on things in the studio. Although, today I am out in the yard- working working! Too nice to be inside. There's always this evening...

Phaedra

Hi Everyone! Gosh, it's great to be back. I was gone for over a week again- seems that's all I am up to lately is being away from home! Hard to get my work done, but I am doing my best. This is Phaedra-she is kneeling under an arching branch of crystal berries. I thought the branch added a cool dimension to this piece.
Also, in a bit I will be announcing the classes I will be teaching later this year. Oops! Once again, I will be on the road! But, it's all good. One will be in Omaha and one in Indianapolis.
Have a great week, everyone!

One more to share...

And this is Rachel. She took me a long time to finish, but I was so happy with the results. She is draped with a very sheer piece of silk that I treated to look wet. I called her the Goddess of Rain.
Hope you enjoy her--you can see her as well as Kayleigh by clicking on the image off to the left.

Have a great weekend,
Deb

Busy busy BUSY!

Hi all,
Well, it certainly helps to stay home for a few weeks! I've finally been able to devote some time to my art again. This is Kayleigh, and she is a freestanding fairy who is admiring a pitcher filled with flowers. She is about 6" tall overall.

Enjoy!

An Angel for Valentine's Day!

This is Bethesda! She is a Valentine Angel, bringing good wishes for all those special people in our lives. Her base is actually a small trinket box, the perfect hiding place for a little something for that special Someone! If you want to see additional photos of her, click on the link off to the left side.

I've been gone a good deal lately, visiting the grandkids- and I had knee surgery in late December. That slowed me down a bit too! But, getting back up to speed, and certainly looking forward to SPRING.

For now, though, stay warm!

Brandi on Ice!

Crystals and ice are the setting for this wee poinsetta fae. Brandi on ice, I thought it sounded like a great name! Hope you think so too.
Happy Holidays!

Still hard at work-well, sort of...

Hi everyone-

I'm back! Still trying to get into the swing of studio work- between appointments and yard work. And now I have to have knee surgery again, too! Never ends. Anyway, I don't let that stuff get me down, I just keep plugging away.

Here is my latest offering on Ebay, Sheylen. Hope you enjoy seeing her! She took me such a long time to finish!!

Back to work, I guess!

After so much time away it's been hard to get back into the swing of things here! I'm doing my best though- and this week I have Christel here with me. She is a shy Forest waif, and she is just coming out of her little moss covered house. It is so fun to adapt common items into fantasy! You never know what you will come up with.

Back in a few days,

Deb

Home from my excursion West!

Back again! I am happy to be home but had a simply wonderful time visiting California. I taught a week long seminar in Napa Valley- was so much fun! The gals worked hard and everyone had a fairy mostly finished by class end. Then, off to visit other parts farther south-such fun traveling! Here is a photo of a sunset I was lucky enough to catch while in the Mexican Riviera.

Also, while there I completed a sculpt I call Korbella, after the Korbel Winery we visited in Napa Valley. Here is a photo of Korbella! She is currently listed on ebay.

Thanks for stopping by!
